We get good value for money from Elonex, because they are always ready to enter a dialogue rather than just
present us with a price list and wait for the order. We've got to have good quality build, good quality
control and a fast response. Elonex meet those criteria, reliability is good and the users are happy.

DENNIS PILE
SCIENCE MUSEUM
SYSTEMS SUPPORT MANAGER.
The Challenge
Elonex's challenge was to keep the behind-the-scene offices of the Science Museum running efficiently. Dennis Pile, the Science Museum's Systems
Support Manager has overseen the installation of Elonex computers at the museum's administrative offices in London, at the
National Railway Museum in York, the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford and store buildings in
London and Swindon. He is responsible for all support matters relating to over 500 desktop PCs used by finance, personnel,
estates, collection curators and marketing staff of the museum.
The Solution
The Science Museum has purchased Elonex equipment since 1991 and the relationship with Elonex has gone from strength to
strength. Dennis Pile is acutely conscious of the need for value for money and checks that the deal he has with Elonex is
competitive on an ongoing basis throughout the year by sourcing quotes from rival vendors, but always returns to Elonex.
The Result
To date, he is happy that Elonex offers the Science Museum the best value for money he can find. They are currently purchasing
Elonex's award winning ProSentia 2000 and even though Dennis won't disclose the price, he says it is competitive in its own
right without taking into account the inclusion of three years warranty.
