In February 2003 Elonex won the contract to provide and maintain an IT solution to improve customer service and information
access within The Housing Corporation. This contract heralded the arrival of a new breed of outsourcer who can inject new cost
savings and efficiencies into the IT Managed Services market.
As the main contractor in this agreement, Elonex is responsible for managing the new ASP system, Netstore
has the role of powering it. This agreement could be worth up to £10m based upon usage that will last for 5 years.
It was set up via the Government approved GCat procurement scheme.
It fulfils its' promise to produce a superior service, combining the knowledge and experience of both Elonex and Netstore to meet The Housing Corporations needs.
Under the agreement Elonex has provided a wide-ranging package including Desktop Services, Helpdesk support and hardware maintenance. In addition, Netstore provides high application availability for over 600 internal staff and many external customers including government bodies and Housing Associations for faster and easier access to information.
The Result
Elonex has created a dependable and cost effective solution to maximise budgets provided by taxpayers' money.
