  • 1986 Elonex PLC founded.
  • 1988 Bradford office opens.
  • 1990 Elonex Belgium opens.
  • 1991 Elonex Taiwan opens and is awarded Microsoft OEM status.
  • 1992 Elonex France, Israel and Switzerland established.
  • 1995 Elonex Solutions Division formed, won MOD contract.
  • 1996 Elonex E-Commerce introduced.
  • 1997 Elonex wins NHS Supplies Authority
  • 2000 Elonex's Software Development Division established..
  • 2001 Elonex wins Gcat/NHSCat contract for Hardware & Systems Integration
  • 2003 Elonex wins a contract to supply under the Governments' Laptops for Teachers Initiative, earns supplier status for the Governments NHS National Programme for IT
  • 2004 Contract awarded to supply Intel® Centrinoÿ mobile technology-based laptops under the Essex e-Learning Foundation Initiative (£150m).
  • 2006 Elonex taken over allowing investment into new Reseach and Development and expansion into Consumer Electronics Market
  • 2007 Elonex releases first range of innovative Consumer Products via High-Street Retailers and e-commerce

New technology
Energy Star Logo Elonex has always provided its customers with the quality and innovation which they have come to expect. The company provides the key elements in most of its systems, and has invented numerous patentable solutions. Included in these was DPMS technology - the worldwide standard for power-saving in monitors. Elonex was one of the first companies in the world to market an ENERGY STAR compliant computer. We aim to release new and innovative products into the marketplace on continu basis.

Elonex's hardware products are built at its Midlands headquarters and at other sites in Europe, and worldwide. The company's wealth of knowledge and experience gives it a huge advantage over its competitors in delivering high quality products and services directly to customers.

Growth Since inception in 1986
Elonex has grown substantially already having to move premises in the early 1990's to accommodate its expanding operations. The IT industry has become far more competitive with the influx of new companies. Elonex still maintains its position above many competitors because of our exceptional service and high quality products.

Elonex is an Independent business that is not subject to the instability created by being a listed company. The organisation and its employees can focus on their responsibilities to the customer and not the demands of the shareholder.
